Main menu

The Main menu screen appears when entering the Advanced Mode of the BIOS Setup program.

Items of Main menu

The Main menu provides an overview of the basic system information, and an interface for setting the system date, time, language, and security settings.

BIOS Information

• BIOS Version
• Build Date
• EC Version
• LED EC Version
• ASUS HYDRANODE FW Version
• ME FW Version
• PCH Stepping

Processor Information

• Brand String
• Processor Base Frequency
• Total Memory
• Memory Frequency

System Information

• System Language
• System Date

System Setting

System Date and Time Setting

System date and time setting can be activated by clicking the Date and Time at the upper left corner to open the System Date & Time setting dialog box.

Language Setting [English]

System language can be altered through the language combo box.

Security Setting

The security setting can be altered by expanding the security menu items. The Security menu items allow you to change the system security settings.

Remarks

• If you have forgotten your BIOS password, erase the CMOS Real Time Clock (RTC) RAM to clear the BIOS password.
• The Administrator or User Password items on top of the screen show the default [Not Installed]. After you set a password, these items show [Installed].
