Examples:

  • Example of using the Copy method to copy the folder of the specified folder object instance.

    ASP VBScript command:

    <script runat="server" language="VBScript">
    Dim fso, FolderObjectName
    Set fso = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")

    FolderObjectName.Copy("d:temp2\")
    </script>

    HTML web page output

  • Example of using the Copy method to copy the folder of the specified folder object instance.

    ASP JScript command::

    <script runat="server" language="JScript">
    var fso, FolderObjectName;

The FolderObject.Delete method does not check whether the folders have contents or not. And the specified folder is deleted regardless of whether the folders have contents or not.

An error occurs if the specified folder does not exist.

Examples:

  • Example of using the Delete method to delete the folder of the specified folder object instance.

    ASP VBScript command:

    <script runat="server" language="VBScript">
    Dim fso, FolderObjectName
    Set fso = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
